Through the official fan community platform Weverse, GFRIEND revealed that they would be releasing a new full-length album titled ŌĆśÕø×: Walpurgis NightŌĆÖ on November 9th. This will be the groupŌĆÖs first comeback in almost four months since releasing ŌĆśÕø×: Song of the SirensŌĆÖ this past July, and it will be GFRIENDŌĆÖs first full-length album in one year and ten months since the release of ŌĆśTime for usŌĆÖ last January. ŌĆśÕø×: Walpurgis NightŌĆÖ will be the last album of the Õø× series, which has been showcasing the growth of GFRIEND. In this new album, GFRIEND will attempt to show a new side of themselves that they never showed before. If ŌĆśÕø×: LABYRINTHŌĆÖ served as a prologue for the groupŌĆÖs transformation, then ŌĆśÕø×: Song of the SirensŌĆÖ is proof of definite transformation. ŌĆśÕø×: Walpurgis NightŌĆÖ will wrap up the trilogy and focus on the best sides of this transformation. GFRIEND will continue to collaborate with BigHit EntertainmentŌĆÖs leading producer lineup. The members themselves will also be participating more in the production of the album. Pre-orders for the album will open on October 19th, and further details will be shared on Weverse. Source (1)
