According to a media outlet, movie Emergency Declaration decided to stop all filming and wait for the COVID-19 situation to improve. Emergency Declaration, also an aviation term meaning a state of emergency if and when planes are no longer able to operate normally by the captainŌĆÖs judgment when faced with a disaster situation, heralded an impressive aviation disaster film featuring tense story and colorful characters. It started filming in May. Last week, however, a staff was confirmed to have been in contact with COVID-19 confirmed patient and was immediately tasted. Fortunately, he was tested negative, but the production company decided to stop all filming and keep an eye on the situation for safety reasons. Though Emergency Declaration, with the budget of 27.5 billion KRW (about 23,215,566 USD), will suffer huge losses if it suspends its production, the production company stopped all schedules as they prioritize the safety of actors and staff and will actively participate with the governmentŌĆÖs guidelines.
